Fundraising

Campus Improvements

Students & Staff

Raised over $49,000 through Dance-A-Thon, spirit wear, and community events.

Funded a playground sunshade, painted blacktop activity stations, and seasonal beautification projects.

Funded classroom supply reimbursements, holiday gifts for students, ice cream and popsicle treats, movie days, a school-wide bubble show, monthly staff meals, and Teacher Appreciation Week.

How the PTO Works

The PTO is governed by a four-person Executive Board elected annually by the membership. General meetings are held monthly from September through May and are open to all PTO members. Annual membership is $20 per family — members vote on how funds are spent and are eligible to hold office.

Day-to-day work is carried out by volunteer committee chairs who each own a specific area — from fundraising to beautification to staff appreciation. Together, the board and committee chairs meet monthly to keep things running smoothly.

Executive Board

President

Chief executive of the PTO. Presides over all meetings, serves as the primary liaison to the school principal, oversees all committees, and ensures the PTO operates in the best interest of students and families.

Vice President

Supports the President and steps in when needed. Leads volunteer coordination and recruitment for open board and committee positions.

Secretary

Manages all official records, meeting minutes, and PTO communications. Keeps the membership roster and maintains the shared document archive.

Treasurer

Oversees all PTO finances — bank accounts, income, expenses, and reimbursements. Presents a financial report at every general meeting.

Committees

The PTO is powered by families like yours. Explore our committees below and find the perfect role to share your talents and support J.B. Page Primary.

Valentine Pops Committee

Coordinates the annual Valentine Pops fundraiser — a beloved school tradition.

Hospitality

Coordinates monthly staff lunches, Teacher Appreciation Week, conference dinners, and other events that show our teachers and staff how much we value them.
